Collaborative problem solving: using data to plan
Join us for this twilight event exploring how Eltham High School is utilising an online tool to assess their students' collaborative problem solving skills.
Schools need to prepare students for jobs that haven’t been invented and technologies that don’t exist yet. Along with core skills and knowledge, employers are demanding that school-leavers can collaborate and problem-solve.
Eltham High School is committed to teaching these skills, which are essential for an information-rich economy.
In this seminar Eleanor Bridger will facilitate a discussion with Loren Clarke, Curriculum and Data Leader at Eltham High School, and Claire Scoular, Research Fellow at the Assessment Research Centre, examining:
- the use of the online tool to assess skill development
- challenges in assessing general capabilities across a school
- how diagnostic tools and data can be used to build student success.
