Meet ALL’s Passion Project Officer
Michelle Hamilton is passionate about many things including theatre, dance, music and history.
Professionally, Michelle has built a career in the education sector that fulfils her passion for learning. She enjoys engaging young people in learning about the world and developing their capacity to create a better world.
Michelle has seen first-hand the power of engaging students in passion-led learning throughout her career which began with teaching Performing Arts in primary, secondary and community settings in regional Victoria.
Moving beyond traditional school settings, Michelle taught and designed innovative learning programs at City CITE, a CBD based learning campus shared by over 30 schools that provides experiential learning opportunities for Year 8 and 9 students.
Over the years, Michelle has led and designed learning programs for The Foundation for Young Australians and a national model of school-business partnerships for Schools Connect Australia.
Michelle comes to the Australian Learning Lecture team having most recently held the role of Director of Education and Community Engagement for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
