Passion in Canada

The Australian Learning Lecture team recently met with Dr Judy Halbert and Dr Linda Kaser, co-leaders of Networks of Inquiry and Innovation and the Aboriginal Enhancement Schools Network in British Colombia, Canada to discuss the Passion Index and to learn more about their work.

Linda and Judy have been at the forefront of teaching and learning in British Columbia for decades.

Eleanor Bridger, ALL Project Manager, said it was a meeting of minds which opened opportunities for the Passion Index to be tested in an international setting.

“Their focus on inquiry networks is of extreme interest to ALL as they help to influence and shape thinking about deeper learning,” Eleanor Bridger said.

“Their outline of how they approach leadership development and how it is contributing to system change, as well as the importance of persistence, curiosity, passion and shared purpose was in line with ALL’s vision,” she added.
